We will use your DNA results to find your ancestors. Working forward in time, we find the connections that led to your entry into this world.

You will be given Editor access to the family tree we build, which will include certain documents and newspaper articles that are most pertinent.
We will give you the names of your
Birth Parents, Grandparents, Siblings/half siblings, aunts, uncles and close cousins, so far as possible, and including the best way to make contact with them.

Searching for your Birth Parents

DNA Solutions- Biological Family Finder
recommends testing with Ancestry first,
as they have the largest database.
​
If needed, Ancestry raw dna can be downloaded to your computer. (Don't unzip it.) From your computer you can upload to other companies to find more matches. FTDNA, My Heritage, and GEDmatch accept uploads from Ancestry. 23&me does not.

Adoption search or Unknown Parent

In order to find your birth parents,
DNA Solutions- Biological Family Finder must be granted access to your DNA results. To share with us, just follow these easy steps.

Instructions to share DNA results:
1) Log on to your Ancestry account, then go your
DNA page.
2) Click the settings gear located in the top right corner.
3) Scroll down to the Sharing Prefences and +add a person. Type our email address into the open field- dnabff4u@gmail.com
4) Please choose Collaborator so that we may use your color dots and notes.

We will begin sorting your matches and building your tree asap with the goal of finding your birth family. If we are unable to connect you to your immediate family or close cousins, you pay nothing.
